One of my gifts for my family this year is to spend a little more time on me, so I can have a little more patience, a little more fun and a little more endurance.
I started a big part of that goal today with P90X3 (the 30-minute version), which I found for a bargain on Craigslist brand new.
I took my before pictures and did my first workout.
I’ll share the before and after pics when I complete my challenge. Sharing my progress makes me more accountable.
I’m also going to be sharing some of my diet tweaks alongside my fitness challenge.
My Challenge Parameters
I can’t go whole hog on a restrictive diet plan because of Little One. She wouldn’t get everything she needs, but I am committing to eating real food and very little sugar.
I’m also not being too stringent about following the fitness plan. I’m spreading it out a little past 90 days because I’m a busy mom of two under two and I’m homeschooling a 6-year-old. My goal is to complete the lean phase of this program in 120 days instead of in just 90 days. That’s a workout every other day or so.
This schedule is attainable for me because sometimes I’m still up a lot with the baby or another critter. Or I have a packed day.
This year is about perseverance, not crash and burn.
