I remember hearing of a war prisoner (not sure who it was) getting through prison life by singing “Jesus Loves Me” over and over. It’s a simple song with an eternal message.
I think we women need to hear that daily – that Jesus loves us where we are, not where we want to be. It’s a sign of surrender when you embrace that Jesus loves you right here, right now – not when you get to the right attitude, the right weight, or the right level of spiritual maturity. Love is acceptance, and I know it’s something with which I struggle.
That’s why I’m really seeking to embrace this love. I need to accept that I’m a work of God and that means He accepts me right here, right now. This will be a Friday post on my blog and social media accounts – Facebook & Instagram. Will you join me?
I’ll share a moment of my week where I experienced or needed this truth the most. I hope you will too! Comment below with your Jesus Loves Me When…moment.
This challenge is about about accepting my surrendered, gracious place in the Kingdom.
Be blessed my friends! And remember, Jesus loves you and so do I!
